Injury led to chiropractic care and then a career change
Dr. Allen Homan was born and raised in Cincinnati and graduated from UC. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, in 2001. While at chiropractic school he met and married his wife, Dr. Tracy Homan.
Dr. Homan started his career as a pharmacist. While in pharmacy school at the University of Cincinnati he had a head and neck sport injury that caused years of daily migraine headaches. He had to wear an eye patch to drive or to work on a computer to prevent eye spasms that would ultimately result in a migraine. After seeking care from many medical professionals, taking a variety of medications that did not help, and refusing exploratory surgery he was introduced to chiropractic care by chance. What started off as skepticism ultimately changed his life. Dr. Homan suffered with daily migraines for 3 years and chiropractic resolved them in 3 months! Chiropractic gave him his life back. He was so impressed with what chiropractic had done for him that he enrolled in chiropractic school. Dr. Homan is a licensed pharmacist and chiropractor who is uniquely qualified and experienced to see both sides of the healthcare equation.
Dr. Allen Homan receives weekly adjustments and works out daily. He knows that good health comes from combining chiropractic care with good lifestyle choices. Dr. Homan educates patients on making better health choices.
